The draw one card of ADT LV3 could be considered better in certain situations, but getting to a monster that will activate their effect when discarded for another Dragon effect is just as good. If you activate a Dragon’s effect and discard ADT LV5 you get a Level 5 or lower WIND monster to the hand from the deck: lower Armed Dragon searcher. Treated as the original is good, giving you access to the originals if you play them.
